Woman sues city of Bend over bike crash injury

A Bend woman is suing the city of Bend for $154,000, claiming a poorly constructed water-line cover caused her injuries when she wrecked her bicycle in 2010.

Tamara Lynn Houston contends the city was negligent in placing a steel cover over a water line access point on Northeast Ninth Street.....
