An all-day event to benefit the 9/11 Fallen Firefighter Scholarship Fund will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at Big Al’s Fire House Grill, at 6033 S.W. Williams Road, Powell Butte, across from the Powell Butte Church.

The benefit aims to enhance the education and future of children....
