As of Wednesday, about 60,000 low-income Oregon residents had their telephone-service subsidy reduced by 75 cents a month, the Oregon Public Utility Commission announced.
The reduction comes from the federal portion of funding for the Oregon Telephone Assistance Program, or Lifeline, which helps....
