K-9 trials set for Saturday

Officers and their dogs from local police agencies will demonstrate their skills Saturday afternoon at the Central Oregon police K-9 trials in Bend.

The event is free, but officers hope to raise funds through donations to pay for the care of retired and active police dogs. Trials begin at noon....
