Finally, snow arrives

Though the weather is expected to dry out this weekend, the region's ski areas received the holiday snowstorm they were hoping for Friday.

Mt. Bachelor ski area received 9 inches of snow and Hoodoo Mountain Resort received 9.8 inches. As a result, Mt. Bachelor is likely to reopen the Outback....
