Dry December may yield to snowy times

The first thing Todd McGee did Wednesday morning when he saw the rain falling in Bend was to call for the snow report.

McGee, the owner of the Powder House ski shop, was hoping the rain in town meant snow in the mountains.

It didn't. Not yet anyway.

But Wednesday's precipitation does look likely....
