Oregon Guard aims for net zero

The state branch is helping lead an Army pilot project to produce the same amount of energy it consumes

In the U.S. Army, more than just the uniforms can be green.

The Army has launched an initiative to be more environmentally friendly through a strategy called Net Zero, an effort to produce the same amount of energy and other resources as it consumes by 2020.
