Bend looks to build on last season’s strong finish

• The Lava Bears did well at state a season ago, but Summit and Mountain View also have solid squads

In swimming competitions, the swimmer who touches the wall first wins.

After edging out Summit by a mere two points for fourth place at the Class 5A state meet last season, the Bend High boys will be racing Summit to the wall again this year.
