In 2006, Jamie Pierre skied off a 255-foot cliff in the backcountry of Grand Targhee, Wyo., plummeting nearly headfirst and without a helmet for more than four seconds. He struck the deep powder at the base of the cliff with such force that friends had to dig him out.
The jump was intentional.....
