Helping hands and stomping feet

Bend’s Hoedown for Hunger offers music and a meal to help raise funds for those in need of food and shelter

Organizers of Saturday’s Hoedown For Hunger at Bend’s Community Center estimate that nearly 500 people came in to eat chili, listen to live music and help out the region’s largest food bank.

It cost $15 for folks looking to come in out of the cold, have some chili and support the organization.....
