Steel prices are projected to rise, so city may buy $4M worth of pipe

Bend is hoping to beat the market, at least when it comes to steel prices.

City Councilors will vote Wednesday whether to purchase $4 million worth of steel pipe that’s part of the city’s $68.2 million Bridge Creek water project.
