Rosel Zech, a German actress best known to American audiences for playing the title role in Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s grim 1982 satire, “Veronika Voss,” died Wednesday in Berlin. She was 69.
The cause was cancer, a friend, Juliane Lorenz, said in an e-mail.
Zech was a successful stage actress....
