MEDFORD — A Syracuse, N.Y., man remains on a respirator at an Oregon hospital after falling 300 feet into the Crater Lake caldera.

Rogue Medical Center spokesman Grant Walker says 27-year-old Eric Brimlow remains in critical condition.

Rescuers plucked Brimlow from the caldera at Crater Lake....
