Judge: Loughner can be involuntarily medicated

SAN DIEGO — Jared Loughner, charged with killing six people and trying to assassinate Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in a Jan. 8 shooting spree in Tucson, Ariz., can be forcibly medicated, a judge ruled Wednesday.
