Fire season officially begins Monday

Restrictions on burning go into effect on non-federal lands in Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties Monday with the beginning of the fire season.

Burning permits will be required starting Monday on all private and state-owned forest land protected by the Oregon Department of Forestry.....
