A young Tumalo woman got hooked on auto racing through her father

Until last summer, Dani Ferrara did not even know how to drive a stick shift.

Now, with her father's guidance, the 20-year-old from Tumalo is performing at a high level in the Spec Miata class at the Portland International Raceway.
