Before her death, the lifelong Bend resident willed her belongings to historical groups

When Marjorie Smith, the first baby born in Bend's first hospital in 1909, moved from her Wall Street apartment to an assisted-living facility seven years ago, she left behind most of her worldly possessions in the home she'd lived in nearly her entire life.
