William and Elaine (Sharff) Butner, of Bend, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 9.

The couple were married June 9, 1961. They have three sons; Steve, of Redmond, Tim, and Tom (and Kelly), both of Bend.

They have many grandchildren and a great-grandchild due in August.
