House Bill 2732 is a classic product of the Oregon Legislature. It fixes nothing. It adds a new mandate for families to pay.

And somehow, it has already managed to pass the House. The bill is the brainchild of state Rep. Tobias Read, R-Beaverton. He wants to increase Oregon’s education levels.....
