MEDFORD — A 50-year-old Medford man has been arraigned on a charge of murder in the strangulation of his girlfriend.

Mitchell Alan Below was ordered held without bail Tuesday after appearing in Jackson County court in the March 4 slaying of Bonnie Sue Payne.
