Last chance to bike proposed UGB

Final tour organized by land use advocates will go off-road — and will feature free beer

Land use advocacy group 1,000 Friends of Oregon will hold the last of its four bicycle tours of Bend’s proposed urban growth boundary Tuesday, and this time there’s free beer.

“This is going to be the grand finale,” 1,000 Friends of Oregon spokesman Ben Gordon said. “We’re offering free beer.....
