Two years ago, Tour de France rider and Bend resident Chris Horner gave a crashed cyclist a ride across the finish line on the back of his bike during a road race stage of the Bend Memorial Clinic Cascade Cycling Classic.

The fallen rider had broken his bike and was “bleeding from head to toe”....
