The Assistance League of Bend will present its Spring Speaker’s Forum on May 3 at St. Charles Bend.

The lecture will feature Dr. John Corso, Bend-based internist and author of “Stupid Reasons People Die.” A reception and book signing will follow. The event kicks off at 7 p.m..
