Cascade Bancorp posts loss of $48.5M

Bend-based Cascade Bancorp, parent company of Bank of the Cascades, announced Monday a loss of $48.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2009 and a loss of $93.1 million for all of 2009.

A year ago, the company reported a quarterly loss of $137.6 million and an annual loss of $134.6 million.
