Eighth-grader Aleczander Reese has won third place in C-SPAN’s StudentCam 2010 competition for his documentary “What You See and What You Don’t: A Neighborhood in Peril.” The film covers the effects the slowing economy has had on Bend and children in Bend-La Pine Schools.
