Democrat Dallas Brown enters race for Deschutes council seat

Dallas Brown, of Bend, filed to run for the Deschutes County Commission on Friday, becoming the first Democratic candidate to enter the race.

Brown will be running for Position 1, currently held by Commissioner Dennis Luke. A Republican, Luke faces a challenge in his party’s primary on May 19....
