LOS ANGELES — For those parents out there who were holding out hope that scientists would someday vindicate “Baby Einstein” DVDs and other so-called educational videos aimed at toddlers age 2 and younger, a leading pediatric journal has some bad news: The DVDs do not help 1-year-olds learn words....
