‘Top Chef’ host Lakshmi has a girl

NEW YORK — “Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi has given birth to a daughter, Krishna Thea Lakshmi.

Publicist Christina Papadopoulos says that the baby was born Saturday, and that both mother and daughter are “well and happy.”
