Another cougar spotted in the Sisters area, this one a large male with a half-eaten deer

A large male cougar was spotted north of Sisters on Friday afternoon during an investigation of a partially eaten deer carcass, according to a news release from the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.

The deer carcass was discovered by a resident of Longhorn Drive, who contacted Sheriff’s Office....
