Walden stands by his legislative transparency efforts

WASHINGTON — Rep. Greg Walden, R-Hood River, claimed a victory of sorts this week in his effort to expose bills to public scrutiny before votes in the U.S. House, but also experienced a setback, after Democratic leaders removed two of his amendments from the health care reform bill.
