BAKER CITY — Baker City voters have handily rejected an effort to remove Mayor Dennis Dorrah and Councilwoman Beverly Calder from office.

Recall petitions against Dorrah and Calder were filed in mid-June, about a week after the two voted to fire City Manager Steve Brocato.
