Like a houseguest who arrives with little advance notice, our weekend storm caused its share of problems, but, for the adventurous among us, it also made for some fun

As heavy, wet snowflakes blanketed Bend on Sunday morning, many residents were caught by surprise and left wondering if they should start shoveling and cleaning up downed tree branches or just wait out the storm inside.
