Water park project’s deadline likely will be extended to 2014

City hopes extra time will allow developers to secure financing

A $120 million water park and condominium development in Redmond may not open until 2014, four years later than originally planned.

The proposed water park, which would sit near the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center, is expected to have about 370 condominiums or hotel rooms.
