State workers ratify contract with furloughs

SALEM " State of Oregon workers have ratified a contract that requires them to take 10 to 14 unpaid furlough days during the next two years.

About 88 percent of the workers represented by the Service Employees International Union Local 503 voted to approve the contract, union officials said....
