Police investigate Hood River shooting

HOOD RIVER — Police say $300 was missing from the backup till at the hotel where owner Jerry Cranmer was shot dead.

Police are continuing their investigation into a Thursday evening shooting of the owner of the Vagabond Lodge.

A relative living nearby heard a shot just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday....
