Redmond bond sale surprisingly successful, officials say

$13.4M will help pay for airport expansion

The city of Redmond believes it will save roughly $4.8 million after a bond sale this week went better than expected.

The city issued $13.4 million in airport revenue bonds on Wednesday to help pay for the $40 million terminal expansion project currently under way.
