The 2009 High Desert Showdown drag boat races are scheduled for today and Sunday at Haystack Reservoir near Culver.
Races run from about 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Today’s racing will include time-trial qualifying for Sunday’s head-to-head competition.
