Recently, while preparing to enter Bend’s parkway, I witnessed a frightening scene: two young boys (perhaps 10- or 12-year-olds) crossing that same parkway!
They were technically on the crosswalk, but with the recent paving of Highway 97, the “stripes” were still only rubber tabs indicating....
