More Central Oregon soldiers could be headed to Iraq or Afghanistan after the U.S. Department of Defense issued a mobilization alert for the Army National Guard’s 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team.

The 3,500-member brigade is based in Idaho and includes about 800 Oregon National Guard soldiers....
