Juniper Swim & Fitness set for $1M in upgrades

Work won’t cause too big a disruption, staffers say

A nearly $1 million renovation of a portion of Bend’s Juniper Swim & Fitness Center is scheduled to begin next week, but staff members say the work shouldn’t get in the way of most activities at the facility.

Starting Tuesday, crews will be tearing the roof off the area covering the indoor....
