Youngsters ages 6 to 14 can learn about pitching from a local baseball standout.

Johnny Hirko, a graduate of Bend's Summit High School who went on to pitch at the college level and for four seasons with the Bend Elks summer collegiate team, is offering pitching lessons this fall.
