Officials see increase in illegal marijuana grows

The illegal marijuana garden in Eastern Oregon where U.S. Forest Service employee Steve Uptegrove died in an accident last week was one of an increasing number of such operations discovered in remote areas this summer, law enforcement and Forest Service employees said Tuesday.
