Iron Mountain is a craggy little peak about 15 miles west of Santiam Pass on U.S. Highway 20, and the hike there is rife with wildflowers as the trail goes through lush fields, old-growth forest, rocky crags and jungle-like foliage. This hike is easily a favorite.
