SUNRIVER " Fred Funk gave reporters covering the Jeld-Wen Tradition a bit of the afternoon off after Thursday's first round.

After Tom Watson shot a 5-under-par 67, he sat down with reporters in a steamy tent set up at the Crosswater Club clubhouse for media interviews.
