Boring Emmys are not so bad, academy decides

Amid threats from directors and writers, organizers back away from plan to pre-tape awarding of 8 trophies

WASHINGTON " Days after announcing it would pre-tape and edit the dispensing of trophies in eight categories at this year's Primetime Emmy Awards, the Television Academy and CBS have surrendered to guilds that had protested the change.

All 28 categories will be awarded live at the Emmycast....
