St. Charles Redmond becomes better equipped for trauma care

Until recently, most Central Oregonians with traumatic injuries received care at St. Charles Bend, a Level 2 trauma center. The region's other hospitals were Level 4 and often had to transfer the most seriously injured patients to Bend.
