ODOT prefers new median to make Tumalo stretch of Highway 20 safer

The Oregon Department of Transportation unveiled a plan Tuesday to build a median on U.S. Highway 20 and Seventh Street in Tumalo to improve safety in the community north of Bend.

The idea met some resistance from Tumalo residents during a meeting hosted by ODOT on Tuesday.
