Please, please slow down. Poplar Street in southwest Bend, between Brookswood and Lodgepole, has become a high-speed nightmare. There are four 25 mph speed limit signs, two each way, in five blocks.

The average speed of cars traveling both ways is, 50 percent are averaging 32 to 42 mph. Many are....
