New panel to advise councilors on economic development

Members of commission yet to be chosen but will be appointed by mayor

The Redmond City Council created a new economic development commission earlier this week, a move organizers hope will grow the city's economy.

Work on the commission began in March, when Mayor George Endicott announced the goal of creating 10,000 jobs by 2025.
