Makes 1 cocktail.

1¼ oz Jose Cuerva Gold tequila

1 oz Bols triple sec

1½ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 oz simple syrup or sweet-and-sour mix

6 to 8 stemmed fresh or partially thawed frozen strawberries, plus 1 fresh strawberry for garnish (optional)

2 C cracked ice
